Julia Baier
Julia Baier is a photographer and artist based in Berlin. She works worldwide on personal artistic projects as well as on assignments for magazines, institutions, clients and agencies.

Biography
A graduate from the Bremen University of the Arts photography studies, Julia Baier has been working for two decades as a photographer for international newspapers, magazines and agencies. Her work has been shown in numerous national and international group and solo exhibitions, and she has published several monographs.
Baier is the recipient of many fellowships and awards, including the 2.prize architekturbild 2015, European Architecture Photography Award (2015) and the BFF Promotion Award in 2003. She was nominated for the World Press Masterclass in 2003.
She is also a committed educator with years of experience teaching in universities of art, giving international workshops and presenting her artistic practice during lectures.
In 2019 she joined the UP photographers collective.
